Of fishes and prawns

Can fishes and prawns suffer from heart attack or anxiety disorder? Maybe. Few days ago, one of the guppies at home seemed to have suffered from sudden cardiac arrest. It was still swimming happily a while ago but swam backstroke the moment more water was poured into the tank.

Some prawns have also committed suicide today by jumping out of the tank. I did not notice it until after dinner. Could they have danced hip hop because the painters were painting the facade of my block and they were traumatised? Guess it will remain a mystery forever.

What if the prawns hit the 'ceiling' and brain concussed? Some of them actually got stucked on the wall while still alive eh.

aiyo..so those stucked on the wall, are still well & alive ?

brain concussion nvm, at least still alive..err, by the way how many prawns are there in the tank?
Is it too crowded so some them decided to 'move'/jump out.

Those that were discovered early were pushed back to the tank. The unfortunate ones had became 'giam hir'.

I also don't know how many prawns there are. Lost count. Don't think it's too crowded, the prawns are small leh, so are the BB fishes.

I think they do feel stressed out, forgot i read something about this before...The prawns may have jumped out due to some factors they are not "happy" about. As for the cardiac arrest guppy, think the swirls created from the pouring in of water upset it, unless u did pour in super gently. Is the water fresh from the tap or allowed to stand overnight already? I also half past six one, only remembered bits of what i've learned before about fish-rearing.
